Set Up on Apple Mobile Devices
Instructions
You must use Safari for this installation process.
Step One
- Open settings and temporarily connect to a network.
- If you are on campus, choose BYU-WiFi.
- If you are off campus, choose any trusted network.
Step Two
- Open Safari.
- Click on the following link: Download the Eduroam Installer
- Verify that the system detected is "iOS" and that the device detected is "iPhone/iPad". This should be done automatically.
- Select Sign In
Step Three
- A BYU Log In page will appear, log in as you would to your computer (normal BYU login).
Step Four
- When the page reappears, click Join Now
Step Five
- When a pop-up appears, click Allow
Step Six
- Then when it asks which device, click the correct device.
- You should get the pop up "Profile Downloaded" upon completion of this step. Close the pop up.
Step Seven
- Open the settings app
- Click on "Profile Downloaded"
Step Eight
- Click on Install
- Enter iPhone or iPad password
Step Nine
- Click Install again. Another pop up may appear where you will need to again click on Install.
Step Ten
- You are done! Verify that your mobile device is now connected to Eduroam Wi-Fi in the settings app
